Amy Henderson’s practice focuses on probate matters, guardianships, and conservatorships. In addition, she is experienced with estate planning (preparing Trusts, Wills, Durable Powers of Attorney, Advance Health Care Directives, and business, and real estate succession planning) for individuals and couples with estates of all sizes as well as trust and estate administration.
For almost a decade, Amy was employed by the Santa Cruz County Superior Court as the court’s probate and research attorney. During that time, she worked closely with the judges in researching legal issues, preparing for trials and contested motions, and drafting orders and judgments.
Prior to her work at the court, she resided in Reno, Nevada. She worked with the Law Office of Caren Jenkins in the areas of estate planning, probate, and surrogacy law. She also worked for the Law Office of Garrett Sutton in the areas of estate planning and business formation. Amy has made various presentations on estate planning and business formation.
Amy is an insatiable world traveler, long-distance trail runner, and bicycle commuter. She also enjoys backpacking and many other adventures with her son.
