Emily Buchbinder’s practice focuses on estate planning (Trusts, Wills, Durable Powers of Attorney, Advance Health Care Directives, business, and real estate succession planning) for individuals and couples with estates of all sizes. In addition, she has extensive experience in probate matters, trust and estate administration, business law, and tax.
Emily is the Chairperson of the Santa Cruz County Bar Estate Planning Council. She serves on the Board of the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County and the Santa Cruz Cancer Benefit Group. She is a former Board Member of Habitat for Humanity. Prior to opening her own practice, she worked at Bosso Williams, the Grunsky Law Firm, and Deloitte Tax.
Emily is a regular speaker on estate planning and taxation for the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County, the University of California Santa Cruz Planned Giving, CalCPA, and various community and business organizations.
Emily is an avid bike rider who regularly commutes to work on her bicycle. She also enjoys travel, exercise, theater, and spending time with family and friends.
