Attorney, 

Tanya Harmony Ridino comes to the Law Office of Emily Buchbinder with an extensive legal background, including providing estate planning information in the non-profit legal aid setting for ten years.  Ms. Ridino graduated Magna Cum Laude at the University of California Los Angeles School of Law and began her legal career with internship positions with Dependency Court Legal Services in Los Angeles and the US Department of Justice in Washington D.C.  She went on to work for two large law firms for five years before devoting her next fifteen years to serving nonprofit legal aid organizations.  In Santa Cruz, Ms. Ridino was Independent General Counsel for Monarch Services for five years and worked nine years with Senior Legal Services, including four as their Executive Director.   

Ms. Ridino is co-author of the California Childcare Safety Plan, Family Emergency Preparedness toolkit and volunteers with many immigration service teams.  Ms. Ridino is a highly skilled communicator, trained mediator and speaks Spanish fluently.  She is close with her large family of seven siblings and is proud to be raising her rambunctious 11-year-old son.  In her spare time, she strives for consistent yoga and meditation practice, enjoys volleyball, dancing, and being anywhere warm outdoors.
